Tom’s Books
Tom Pado’s first book, Damn the Pressure, Full Speed Ahead is a memoir of his extraordinary life developing undersea robots for the oil and gas industries. Lessons and traits learned earlier in life helped him from humble beginnings in Gary Indiana to building a multi-million dollar business in Australia.
In Einstein and the Formula for Everything Tom combines science with story in a fictional tale. The story begins with the three scientists from different time periods he most admires: Albert Einstein, Sir Isaac Newton, and Carl Sagan. Initially, the story explores how the three geniuses come together (or not) and share their work. But when Myra, a brilliant 15-year-old begins her first term at Princeton, she becomes Albert’s protégé and changes everything from the dynamic between the scientists to Albert’s continual pursuit of the formula for everything. This is a book filled with science possibilities, humor, love, and surprises for the characters and the reader.

Tom Writes
A man who has spent his entire life bringing big ideas to fruition cannot simply retire and “rest”. Tom’s mind roils with ideas about science that explains how things came to be, how they work, and what it means for humans. He has more to say than what is shared in his books. So Tom occasionally writes blogs. He also answers questions from readers. His blog is filled with humor, science, technology, and his effervescent personality.

Tom Speaks
Once Tom began telling stories and sharing his knowledge and insights, he was asked to speak to groups. He has spoken about business, technology, science, fostering personal success, and more. His audiences have ranged from grade school children to high school and college students as well as adults in professional settings, community and civic organizations, and social groups.
